WebCam Recorder %u2013 Useful Video Recording Utility for Windows
Nowadays, web cameras are not only used for chatting purposes. As the technology continues to develop, cameras are becoming more and more advanced, while their size and price continue to reduce. That's why a lot of people use web cameras for surveillance or for showing the weather in some regions. It would be a good idea to record a web camera, for example, to stand as evidence in a trial or to spot a thief. A software that can help you do that is WebCam Recorder. The name says it all. This is an application that can record any web camera video displayed on the screen but it's not limited to that, as it can also record everything displayed on the screen, for example IM conversations, movies played and so on.
The installation process of WebCam Recorder shouldn't pose problems to any user as it's straightforward and requires little time to complete. It supports any Windows version, including XP and Windows 7.
The interface of WebCam Recorder is small and intuitive, featuring a graphical form. There aren't any menus, just a couple of buttons for configuring the recording preferences, recording and playing back the recorded video. The configuration process is wizard based and allows any type of user to take advantage of it. Even if you don't have a web camera, you can still use WebCam Recorder because it can record everything displayed on the desktop or in a certain window. This way, the user can record an IM conversation or a playing video.
WebCam Recorder features a built-in video player, that allows playing back all that's been recorded. Videos can be saved as regular AVI files or as still images, containing a single frame.
